Today, TRS employs over 80 full-time staff and this includes a number of apprentices and trainees. Ours is a business that rewards loyalty and this is reflected in the number of employees with over 5 years’ service.
TRS has forged strong links with the colleges providing Refrigeration and Electrical training to our staff and we meet on a 6 monthly basis to receive an appraisal and review on each of our apprentices and trainees.
We are committed to ensuring that training meets the needs of our employees and is relevant and up-to-date for the industry. We understand that employee personal development is crucial to the on-going success of our business.
As an industry, training and investment in young people has fallen away significantly in the past 10 years. TRS is very proud of its record on the recruitment and training of its young people over this period of time and forges ahead in creating its own standards in delivering service – the TRS way.
